Quinto Grado (Fifth Grade)
OPRF High School Students did a fabulous job on Tuesday afternoon! The fifth graders had a great time! They were able to see different plays like, Snow White, The Three Little Pigs, The Wizard of Oz, Goldilocks and The Three Bears, and even a jeopardy game! Everything was done in Spanish (even the question/answer segment). Fifth grades will continue to write letters to the OPRF High School Students in the weeks to come. Thank you to OPRF H. S. AP Spanish Class and Mr. Gonzalez for making this possible!
Cuarto Grado (Fourth Grade)
Fourth graders have done a great job with the short stories. They have also worked on foods. El estudiante loco has gone to a "juego de fútbol" in México, who know where he will end up next week. The students were put in groups of 5 and they narrated and acted out the story all by themselves. Great job, 4th grade!
Tercer Grado (Third Grade)
Third graders have been working on things around the house. They have done so many activities with things around the house. They made their own bingo cards and played bingo (without the words). They play a game called "bump it", where I say a room around the house like "la sala" and one of them will say an object (in Spanish) that belongs in that particular room. They have so much fun!
Segundo Grado (Second Grade)
Second graders have done a wonderful job. They are working on time and addition at this time. Second grades are learning how to tell time in Spanish on the hour and every 15 minutes. They are also keeping track of the weather. Está nevando, está núblado, hace sol, hace frío, hace calor. I am very proud of them!
Primer Grado (First Grade)
First grade continue to work on feelings, numbers, greetings, and animals. They have been very busy with lots of songs too. Like "la clase", "Juanito cuando baila", and head, shoulders, knees and toes, just to name a few. I am happy to see that they have learned so much this year.
